Borderlands Wiki is a wiki-style encyclopedia containing information about the game Borderlands. It is updated and maintained by YOU, the members of the Borderlands community. 

As of March 2011, you need to contact the site's editors if you would like to be able to edit the Wiki. Use the contact form at the top of the site. This is due to the large number of spammers.

How to contribute

Editing pages

You can edit a page by clicking the edit tab at the top of any wiki page.

Create a new Wiki page

If Borderlands Wiki is lacking a page on a certain topic, that deserves one, you can create a new page here.

Linking

You can link terms to its Wiki page (if one exists) by simply putting a pair of brackets around the term. Here is the result of typing a pair of brackets around the word guns: guns.

Sourcing

When possible, source your information. Just add (Source) at the end of the information with a hyperlink to the original content.

Table of Contents

Any Wiki page can have an automatically generated table of contents. From the "Format" dropdown above the text box, select a "Heading 1" for each section header. Then click "Switch to plain text editor" below the text box. Insert <!--tableofcontents--> where you would like the table of contents to appear.
