Playing Borderlands during our busy holidays is as challenging as shooting Lance Infantry and Defender soldiers in Old Haven during multi-player mode.

For us gamers who love “everything Borderlands,” the holiday break is a tantalizing time to visit Pandora because of our respite from work and/or school.  But we've got those pesky holiday obligations:

 --stacks of gifts to buy and wrap
 --holiday parties your friends are throwing on any given night
 --countless hours of Christmas and holiday movies with family and relatives to watch
 --faking gratitude when you receive useless gifts like an ugly sweater that doesn't fit anyway

Kotaku posted their preview yesterday afternoon of Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot. The previewer's conclusion is below:

Writing one column each week of between 250 and 500 words. The topic can be anything related to Borderlands. You could write a top 5 list, a tutorial, a roundup of cool forum posts, or your opinion on some Borderlands news. Expect to spend an hour or two each week.

Corporate press releases are typically as useful as a butter knife in a gun fight. They're corporate propaganda. But sometimes there's some good details when you read between the lines.

Exhibit A: the fourth quarter press release from Borderlands publisher Take-Two Interactive Software (NASDAQ:TTWO). Say the suits:

Here we go again. Another caption contest. It's like a sword duel, except the weapon is your wit instead of a sword. And nobody gets stabbed.
