Borderlands A "3-million-unit game"

At Dice 2010, Gearbox supremo Randy Pitchford dropped that "We're now looking at a 3-million-unit game" in reference to Borderlands. The wording is a bit vague and we're unsure whether he means that the game already sold 3 million copies or is nearing 3 million in sales.

Either way, that's a helluvalot of games. And it means one thing. Even though there are some saying Gearbox should slow down and focus on quality over quantity, we're going to get more DLC and, yes, at least one sequel. With numbers like that, no business is going to pass it up.

A 3-million Unit game, means it has sold 3 million copies.  I believe the vgcharts shows about 2 million total between ps3 and 360, I am imagine that they are counting DLC as extra buys, and expect Knoxx to push them close or over the 3 million mark.  PC version of course also should have some decent numbers, for a PC game at least.

Borderlands has obviously already made over 3 million dollars.  It's probably closer to 300 million dollars especially after knoxx comes out.
