I want one person to get the game and play for like 4 months strait and then make a 12 hour video of pictures of ever single gun in the game
that would be awesome :)
If there are 653000 guns (which was the minimum...), then you would have to collect one gun every twenty seconds to do it in four months (play-time).
That's why I said "plus another year or two".

Assuming that you NEVER get the same gun twice. And that ALL loot is JUST guns. >.>
I mean, we have over 10,000 turrets and 500,000 armor pieces as well. where else would we get those?

Sep. 2007 GI article. So assuming that hasn't changed, (which I doubt it has), 500,000 armor pieces and other items.
it probably has changed, theres probably more, it went from 650,000 guns to "somewhere in the millions" so its a good bet that there are more when its what 2 years later?
They have revamped the system here and there. I'd have to dig out the article, but were they talking about shields back then? If they had an armor-piece system, and not a shield system, there'd be a MUCH higher number back then.
I wonder....
