Gearbox Also Working On Halo 4?
Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford says that the studio's next project is "big." That sounds like a huge understatement now. XBOX Magazine is reporting that Gearbox is working on Halo 4.
If this is true, it would be a huge get for Gearbox. Halo 3 sales totaled $170 million in the game's first day. A Gearbox-crafted Halo would dramatically raise the studio's profile and its profits.
Fortunately, it wouldn't mean much for Borderlands. Halo 4 is still a distant speck on the horizon and so development shouldn't sap any resources from the game. (Found on Joystiq).
Honestly, Gearbox should do the honorable thing and work on a Tribes revival, the game Halo was copied from.
A new Tribes would be freaking amazing.
/agree with all of above ^.^
I'd like to see a resurgence of games like Blood, Redneck Rampage, and some of the comedic stuff such as Boogerman.
redneck rampage? tell anyone within a 30 sq mile radius of my house that they are shorting deer season to one week and thats what youll see. i hate being the only need in a redneck town..... bleh
but i heard halo came from marathon...
Maybe there will finally be a Halo game worth playing.
Wierd. I knew Halo: Reach would be Bungie's last halo, but i thought 343 Industries were taking charge of future titles. In fact, i'm pretty sure that's why they were formed. Not that i'm complaining. Although it could mean some sour news for Borderlands 2. What about the new Aliens game too?

Bungie (the old Halo developer) better have some helluva good ideas for new titles if they are going to walk away from Halo. I understand why somebody wouldn't want to deal with Microsoft but they would be turning their back on one of the biggest game franchises around.
