Shooting stuff on your own: fun. Shooting stuff with friends: more fun. Borderlands is built on this premise. Cooperative play is an integral part of the game.

Finding a good co-op buddy can be tricky though. That's why we're launching a new menu tab on Borderlands Guide, Find Players. Scroll over it and you'll get options to see Borderlands players with XBOX gamertags, PSN ids, and Xfire usernames.

If you're not on this list and plan on buying Borderlands, shame on you. If you don't want to be labeled some sort of anti-social misanthrope, register now for Borderlands Guide. If you're already registered click on "My account" to add your username info.

Great Idea.

My average skill for any FPS is  low, but I'm not a screechy 12-year-old Live "gangsta" so I suppose it balances. October has never seemed so far away......

Both a great idea and awkward for me!

I love the steps toward forming social groups before the game even is out. Sadly, I'm a PC gamer, and have never gotten an xfire account, so I kinda have to sit this one out.

Edit: Was bored and didn't have much else to do so I made myself an xfire account >.> Very new at it. Anything I should know?

Nice!

This is a great feature! Lolz, it feels like you are always in competition with the official forums. Where the latter has more content and members, you certainly have the better features.

Both Consoles

I've got both consols and I don't know exaclty which version I will be picking up.  I hear the PS3 version is supposed to look better, but all my friends have 360's so...we'll see which one is out.  I've got ID's up for both consols, but I can't garuntee which one I will buy.

Could I request that we add a section for Steam names?  I think it's pretty likely they'll release it through Steam, and it's a great platform for community, especially for a game like this.

Yeah, I'm with you

I just got a STEAM account yesterday, and I love it!

I would appreciate that.

While I have an X-fire account I never touch it, I however do touch STEAM quite a bit. (Cue inappropriate jokes)
