Edit 1: Just killed him for the the 6th time. Currently have the kill shot 4 out of those 6 times and all 6 times have done at least 85%-95% of the total damage.

Edit 2: Just killed him for the 7th time with a new guy named Skellyton and Bobotheclown21 and they friended me 5 seconds before we started it the 7th run so there is still time. Got the kill shot again, and found some more awesome items. Doin probably 2 or 3 more runs before we quit for the night.

Edit 3: Just killed him for the 8th time. Have gotten the equivelent of 10-12 days of farming New Haven in guns and stuff.

Edit 4: Just killed him for the 9th time in a new record of 4 minutes and 47 seconds. Gonna round it out at 10 total Crawmerax runs then turn in for the night. If I am not the worlds number 1 Crawmerax killer then I am deffinatly 2nd

Edit 5: Just killed him for the 10th and final time tonight in a record 3 minutes and 57 seconds but that was with only 3 people including myself. Got some really good gear and now  have it down to a science on how to kill Crawmerax. If you want it done quickly then you need to have at least 1 level 61 siren and 1 preferably 61 soldier. The siren should have a fast firing SMG of some sort, the stats on my weapon of choice is in a post above, With a reasonably high damage. For backup weapons equip your highest damage Corrosive AND your highest Fire damage SMGs. This will be explained later. Equip the best Mercenary mod you can find, But make sure it has ammo regen. I used transfusion grenades of the 179 variety and they worked better then any other that I have tried. The soldier should deffinatly have a support gunner class mod with Ammo regen and an increase to clip size. He can equip any grenade mod he wants but transfusion is still a good bet. Once you reach the top of the elevator the siren should tear off to one side while unloading onto Crawmerax and ONLY Crawmerax. Aim for the glowing purple orbs adorning the 2 uppermost claws on either side of its main body, the big glowing eye on the front, and the glowing hump on its back. Ignore the several little guys and aim solely at the glowing purple orbs. Use transfusions when your health gets low and use phasewalk when ever your close to dieing. The soldier should be the main tank on the little guys. For his weapons, he should also have a non-elemental, high fire rate, high damage weapon, and a Corrosive and an Incindiary, and possibly an explosive weapon as well. The little crabs he will be fighting are kind enough to color code themselves, so its easy to figure out which element to use on which. The GREEN Crabs should be burnt with what ever fire weapon you can possibly find, And the PURPLE ones should be melted with acid. Explosive works well on both if you dont feel like changing weapons alot, in that cause I really hope you have a decent Ogre. There are also Maggots, (It really helps that they have MAGGOT in their name and that they look Maggot like) And they just have high health so shoot the shit out of them with what ever you want. If he manages to kill the little guys before Modey Dick (AKA: Crawmerax) is dead then he can also help with killing him. The purple orbs will dissappear after taking enough damage, this is animated by the purple eye exploding and the claws dissolving into nothing. The purple hump on its back will also explode, and each instence will stun Mobey Dick (AKA : Crawmerax for those of you not paying atention.) for a few seconds. His attacks are hard to telegraph but generally he will rear up and roar when he is about to spit acid balls, he will dive under ground and emerge a second later before he shoots up into the air, and the hardest to telegraph (But eaiest to predict) Is when he is right ontop of you and about to bite your head off.  He will start this attack by pulling back away from you slightly and lunging forward quickly.

This is just my strategy but if has been working beautifully. If I have missed anything please let me know and I will probably end up telling you to STFU and go away, but if you do have a legitimate question then please feel free to ask.  I will try ever so hard to mock you as little as possible while I answer.
