Electricity element bar
The 2 squares is the Additional damage added by the elemental effect or the level of AoE caused by the element - like explosives element i think the more bars it has the bigger the boom- meaning , damages intended target and others around the target.
as for electricity it could be + additional damage- longer stat effect on enemy (stun) - or AoE damage

The 2 quares next to the elemental property are not the number of shots left in the gun of that property, it is the level of the effect, I think that 2 squares is lvl 3 because I have seen guns with no lvl indicator next to the element. I believe that the lvl goes up to 4.
